Professor YE Pei Da, has been an independent non-executive director of the Company since November 2001. He is also an independent non-executive director of Kantone. He is a professor and Honorary President of Beijing University of Posts & Telecommunications in China, and a director of Lucent Technologies Fibre Optic Cable Company. He is also a senior member of the Chinese Academy of Science.
